Weaving Stripes, Plaids & Tartans

Weaving tartan was the ultimate goal.

We start with learning the principles of design and create stripe patterns using colourful yarn wraps. Overlay the stripes with another set of stripes and you get plaid. It’s another step to learning the basics of tartan design and then weaving your own tartan.
